How it works
Simple Billing
One flat monthly fee. No copays. No surprise bills. No insurance company standing between you and your care.
Direct Access
Call or text Dr. Greenwood directly. No call centers. Appointments within days, not months.
Better Care
Unhurried visits with a physician who knows your history, understands your goals, and has time to listen.
Traditional Care vs. Direct Primary Care
| Traditional | Direct Primary Care |
|---|---|
| TraditionalOne of 30 or more patients on the schedule that day | Direct Primary CareA patient panel kept small on purpose |
| TraditionalA 15-minute appointment slot | Direct Primary Care45- to 90-minute appointments |
| TraditionalHoping insurance covers most of the bill | Direct Primary CareOne flat monthly membership, no copays or surprise bills for your primary care |
| TraditionalUnable to reach a live person, let alone your doctor, when you have a question | Direct Primary CareDirect access to your doctor between visits, via your preferred method of communication: phone, text, or email |
| TraditionalOften months to get an appointment | Direct Primary CareUsually seen within a day or two |
Is this practice model right for me?
Who benefits from Direct Primary Care
- Athletes and runners who want a doctor who is one too, understands the drive to get back out there, and can address tweaks and niggles before they become injuries
- Teens & college students who want a doctor they can reach from anywhere, and who their parents can trust to give them accurate medical information while away from home
- Older adults whose care needs are growing and who want a doctor to coordinate their care between specialists and/or multiple medications
- Families who want one doctor who can see every family member and who knows their unique family dynamic and how that can interplay with their care
- Patients managing complex, ongoing conditions who need more than a 10-minute visit twice a year
- Small business owners and the self-employed pairing membership with a high-deductible plan
- People who want to see their own doctor when they are sick, not urgent care or a stranger
- People who want to be able to text their doctor with a quick question rather than waste time at an unnecessary appointment
